Emily's review of Galvin Bistrot de Luxe

I was recommended this restaurant and visited on a Saturday night, I have never been so let down. Service was dreadful – we were served our starter before we had been offered a drink (despite asking to order wine), then the waiter came and plonked a random soup down in the middle of our main course. These were just the highlights of dreadful service. The food was okay, not bad but not great by any means. We actually complained in writing after the meal and were sent a voucher for free champagne next time we went – unsuprisingly that has not been used!
