Caped's review of Clos Maggiore

Quite simply magnificent. Went again last week and Clos Maggiore delivered yet again. The atmosphere is friendly, calm and pleasant – I can see why this venue is labelled as good for dinner dates. The food was sublime. Starters of scallops and potato wafers was delicious and well balanced. The main was sea bass with chorizo potato cakes and a chorizo sauce. An explosion of flavours with every bite being sublime. This was my fifth visit and Clos Maggiore goes from strength to strength. Will keep this one up the sleeve as i want it to stay special so will be using this sparingly for the clients I really like!
