The best thing about this restaurant is it's location … Barbecoa (Jamie Oliver) is opposite so go there instead !
Went for dinner but ended up walking out before actually getting any food (or drink).
Bar area is cool, the wine list is on iPads which is a nice touch, except the wifi kept dropping off so you couldn't use them properly.
The menu displayed at the front of the restaurant (in the window to tempt you in) is different to what you get inside. When questioned about this the waitresses (spoke with 2) had trouble actually using words relevant to the conversation and the managers excuse was something to do with it being printed on a different type of paper so it was impossible to change it on a regular basis … even Nandos next door manages to get this bit right!
We were then ignored for a significant amount of time – enough time for us to call Barbecoa from the table and make an immediate reservation.
When you visit a Gordon Ramsey restuarant you do so with high expectations. All of this was destroyed the moment we were seated. The service was so bad that it made us too angry to actually order any food. Sort it out Gordon … and while you are at it get some more of that ‘special’ paper for the window menu – what a joke !
