With a high terrace overlooking St Mawes Bay & St Anthony's Lighthouse (yes, the one from Fraggle Rock), the Tresanton has one of the most spectacular views on the Cornish coastline. Styled & owned by Olga Polizzi, & beloved by Chelsea weekenders, the hotel-restaurant is simply decked out in marine blue & white, with the lighthouse even making an inky blue appearance on crockery. All meat & fish is sourced within a 10-mile radius, so expect simply prepared Falmouth Bay oysters & mussels, Cornish crab or well-hung Calenick beef. The terrace makes the most of the view, serving lunch, drinks & candlelit dinners in summer.
