Set in the heart of the leafy Surrey countryside, The Parrot Inn is picture perfect, facing out over the village cricket pitch in Forest Green. There area plenty of tables for alfresco dining out front, while inside is a cosy pub area & a more modern dining room. Meat is sourced where possible from nearby Home Farm, so expect fine cuts of beef, mutton & saddleback pork in hearty, wholesome dishes. Vegetables come from the pub’s garden & wines from Sussex vineyards (Chapel Down & Ridgeview) are a further nod to the kitchen’s commitment to use local produce where possible. There’s also a farm shop, should you wish to stock up on pies, thick slices of pate & farmhouse cheeses after your meal.
