Since opening in July 2005, this imaginative deli/cafe has become a magnet for Nottingham foodies. Squeeze in at the cosy communal wooden food bar for the tapas-style grazing menu, which covers all-day breakfasts, salads, sandwiches. There are interesting choices from Welsh Rarebit, ‘croque marinara’ filled with pan-fried Gruyere, smoked salmon & pesto, & this is one of the few places in the East Midlands where you’ll find a range of fondues. In the deli, everything from the 200 plus varieties of cheese to charcuterie & interesting wines will have you filling your proverbial picnic basket.
