As a reward for venturing down a dark alley & up a scruffy staircase you’ll find this cosy, welcoming space serving excellent vegetarian & vegan food. Intimate, bohemian & friendly in equal measure, it’s certainly a multi-purpose venue, serving everything from all-day breakfast specials to lunchtime sandwiches, afternoon coffees (Fairtrade, naturally) & late-night alcoholic cocktails, while more substantial dishes such as black bean burrito, tandoori tofu kebabs & halloumi cheese salad come in generous portions for less than a fiver. Beat poetry nights & DJs playing world music are regular features, too. A little gem.
