Square Meal review of B Bar & Kitchen:

Perched opposite Windsor Castle, this former boozer has been refurbished to exacting standards. Now a bar & restaurant, it has quickly become a firm favourite, not only with locals & tourists, but also with the royals - Prince Harry has been seen discreetly downing the odd cocktail or two. Oak flooring & deep sofas, along with a roof terrace, make for a highly comforting, relaxing place to hang out, helped by food that puts the emphasis on grazing, say cornfed chicken breast with roast potatoes & pepper & papaya salad, or loin of cod with warm tomato, olive & prawn dressing. There is a range of cocktails, including several house creations, & fine wines & beers. It does get rather packed on the weekends but service is always friendly & efficient.
