It has fabulous fish, a white wine list to match & a harbourside location in a pretty fishing village in the East Neuk. What else you could ask of a seafood restaurant? You might start with grilled tuna on couscous with sweet pepper puree, curry oil & beetroot. A main of steamed lemon sole is piscine perfection, with polenta & a lobster & vegetable ragout, with an apple financier with Calvados ice cream & rhubarb custard to finish. This is the elder sibling of the cosmopolitan Seafood Restaurant in nearby St Andrews & the food here just has the edge. Decor is pleasantly modern, the service is young & friendly &, in summer, a basic menu is offered on the terrace overlooking the Firth of Forth.
