Square Meal review of Morton's Kitchen Bar & Deli:
Classy operation that sees a large open space fitted out with chunky furniture & successfully blends the concept of cafe, lounge bar & brasserie, thanks to a sit, eat, & drink where you like policy. Wood-fired pizzas are great – think slow-cooked pork, lemon, thyme, tallegio & rocket, served calzone style, or the more familiar mozzarella, tomato & basil – complemented by a please-all menu of salads, char-grilled steaks, spit-roasted lamb or chicken, & burgers, the latter including a vegetarian combo with white bean, mushroom, aubergine & provolone. An instantly appealing idea is that most things on the menu can be ordered to go, should you fancy an evening in. A tree-decked terrace looks out onto the Market Square & offers brilliant alfresco opportunities.
