Smack bang in Warwick town centre, you couldn’t get a better location for this modern, stylish gastropub. It bears all the Peach Pub hallmarks – low coffee tables, leather sofas, vibrant modern colours – & a relaxed, buzzy atmosphere generated by an enlightened policy of opening at 8am for coffee & croissants, bacon & sausage sarnies & a full English, & continuing with an all-day grazing menu of deli plates, sandwiches & salads. A full a la carte comes on stream at 6.30pm, nothing fancy, just good modern pub food that runs to risotto & Caesar salad in starter & main course sizes, as well as crispy squid with rocket & pickled lemon salad & mains of braised Jimmy Butler’s pig cheeks served with parsley mash & crispy black pudding or lemon & thyme-stuffed free-range chicken with beetroot fondant & sun-dried tomato dressing.
