A lift ride above the boozy bars of Boar Lane, Chino Latino brings a touch of James Bond-style glamour to the city centre – diners enjoying pre-dinner exotic cocktails at the space-age bar before a pan-Asian meal served at black and red lacquer tables. Sharing is the best way to tackle the menu: delectable vegetable gyozas (little dumplings of minced courgette, aubergine and mushroom), a sushi selection, and an outstanding tuna tartare served with wasabi ice cream. Follow this with cubes of fillet steak served in a crisp noodle basket with three dipping sauces: truffle, plum wine teriyaki and chilli jam; and jungle curry: lobster, shrimp and scallops drenched in a mellow coconut sauce. Finish with a clean, refreshing dessert of coconut and lime souffle.
