The city end of Roundhay Road is Leeds’ curry mile and until some innovation stirs the pot, the fortified red brick cafe where B.P. Singh has been dispensing top quality Punjabi dishes for over 20 years, remains one of the best. All the faithfuls are dependably here - korma, rogan josh, dopiaza, massala, biryani and tandoori dishes - with sharply defined herbs and spices. Explore the ten changing house specials like the luscious makhan chicken – baked in the clay tandoor and finished with cream. There is plenty for vegetarians and an excellent takeaway service.
