Square Meal review of Blue Bar Cafe:
The light oak & stainless steel interior of this laid-back sibling of the Atrium restaurant is stylish enough, but doesn't completely avoid looking & feeling like the theatre cafe it actually is – it’s housed in the same building as the Traverse Theatre. The short menu delivers solid & dependable versions of familiar Mediterranean dishes & British comfort food, with a spot of French classicism thrown in for good measure. Hence goat’s cheese tart with red pepper coulis and tuna nicoise rub shoulders with sausage, mash and onion gravy, with apple tarte tatin and toffee ice cream making a good finish.
