Viner's Bar and Restaurant

Kevin Viner was the first ever chef in Cornwall to win a Michelin star at his former restaurant Pennypots and many locals and holiday-makers have sorely missed his beautifully crafted cooking since it closed. Now Viner is back. He’s taken over a former pub just off the A30, some nine miles from Truro and turned it into a bar-cum-restaurant. Casual and informal are the watchwords, as Viner has turned his back on fine dining, delivering instead simply constructed dishes that rely on first-rate local fish and shellfish, Cornish lamb and beef.
