Arguably the handsomest dining space in Leeds, though the chain-operation cooking doesn’t always match its class. Polished limestone, black marble pillars and patinated parquet lend an air of opulence to the former banking hall and the menu finds a price-point for every socio-economic grouping. Staff can mix a cocktail, froth a cappucino, cook a brunch, provide a snack or rustle up three courses. Best area for a quiet drink? The old manager’s office, panelled in wood.
