Stark yet comfortable minimalism is the mantra at this increasingly talked-about Manchester pizzeria. Thin crust pizzas range from the traditional (margherita, florentina) to innovative (tandoori chicken, or Peking duck, plum & hoisin sauce, spring onions, cucumber, mozzarella & fresh coriander), otherwise there are salads like Caesar, nicoise or Greek, & a good range of pasta dishes; children get their own mini menu, say a small margherita, an ice cream & a soft drink for £4.95. Staff are suitably warm & attentive. The wine list, however, is thin on excitement.
