With wooden beam'd rooms & a log fire in the winter, The New Inn is the kind of idyllic, relaxed country retreat that woos urbanites from the glamour of the city, & has at least the original exterior remaining unchanged. The Courtyard Bar deals in healthy, modern grub that is mainly British, with nods to various international influences. The wine list is relatively wide, & makes interesting reading
