An impressive sky-lit ceiling adds a modern touch to this traditional restaurant, where a competent kitchen puts local produce to good use in classical dishes such as roast Gressingham duck breast with spring greens, gratin potatoes, cognac and orange reduction. Finish off the evening with a glass of malt whisky (from a list of over 100) in the cosy Library Bar.
