The Restaurant Bar and Grill

More than a decade on from its opening, the Restaurant Bar & Grill remains a great place to see & be seen. The ‘bar-below/restaurant-above’ formula continues to pack them in, & the familiar contemporary mix of glass, leather & clever lighting still looks pretty fresh. The accompanying food is much as one might expect – an eclectic assortment of Mediterranean, oriental & modern brasserie dishes, all competently produced. Dip into a lively line-up that might take in chilli squid with Thai noodle salad, yellowfin tuna niçoise, slow-cooked lamb shank with roasted root vegetables & mint sauce or tandoori lamb cutlets with spiced Bombay potatoes – along with desserts ranging from baked New York cheesecake to apple pie & custard.
