Expect classic formal dining, intimate ambience & Michelin-starred cuisine against the backdrop of beautiful garden views at the Cafe du Moulin. The delicately assembled dishes may include seared scallops whose texture is set off by a bean stew & crispy pig’s trotters, & a most unusual chocolate tart with parsnips & cardamom ice-cream. All-time favourite is the foie gras with onion compote & truffle-balsamic dressing which shows off the produce of the organic kitchen garden. Pricing is reasonable, with plenty of wine under the £20 mark, & the terrace is great in summer.
