Square Meal review of Ibbetson's:
Nominally a hotel restaurant – part of a magnificent Italianate pile with columns, balustrades, fountains, and 110 acres -- but with a separate entrance & dedicated local clientele, this opulent fine dining restaurant is very much its own master. A suitably extravagant menu combines rich, rustic ingredients into clever little numbers like the lobster parfait wrapped with courgettes. Fantastic wines, too.
