Simply set tables are generously spaced across the good-sized dining room, where wooden floors and pale yellow walls add to the breezy effect. Cooking, too, is contemporary, with tweaked Brit classics offered alongside modern Med favourites like the award-winning dish of pesto-encrusted cod with goats’ cheese and chilli macaroni and asparagus cappuccino.
