The weathered timber of this 17th century building lends an aged charm to this family-run restaurant. In keeping with the rustic setting, food is hearty and straightforward -- Theobalds is especially famous for its twice-baked souffles. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful, while simple table settings and ladder-back chairs lend a relaxed feel to the comfortable surroundings.
