Contemporary cooking is served in elegant art deco surrounds in this beautifully leathered-up dining room, where a prime quayside location offers splendid views of the Millennium Bridge and Baltic Centre. There’s plenty of choice on an eclectic menu, though simple combinations tend to be the winners. Try, for example, the braised guinea fowl with savoy cabbage & girolles and calf’s liver with bacon & sage. Finish off with a selection from the broad range of cheese, some of which is local.
