Extrovert, split-level restaurant with an emphasis on lively social eating. North African influences in the design are also reflected in the entertainment, which may feature a belly-dancer or a less exotic table magician. Large parties and functions are a source of much of the business, with dishes like the 'Byzantium Lantern' being made up of a selection of canape-style starters, designed for communal eating. Typical dishes include classic Italian osso bucco, slow cooked in tomato, wine & herbs & roasted szechwan flavoured duck breast in hoisin & plum sauce & served with stir-fried pak choi.
