Sitting pretty on the Leith waterfront, Fishers opened back in 1991 & has maintained a winning formula ever since – thanks to its jaunty nautical decor, signature seafood dishes & upmarket bistro atmosphere. The menu covers all the classics including fish soup, oysters, shellfish platters & fishcakes with lemon & chive mayonnaise, but it also promises a few more adventurous ideas too – perhaps grilled queen scallops with garlic, tomato & herb butter or whole roast sea bass with rosemary, charred lime & new potatoes roasted with smoked sea salt. Brisk service & a commendable wine list complete an attractive package.
