The main room of this restaurant on Brighton’s eaterie-packed Preston Street is devoted to teppanyaki theatre, with seats arranged to offer the best view of the chef’s chopping & barbecuing cabaret. The adjoining room is the place to go for immaculately presented sushi & eight-course Japanese feasts, comprising everything from seafood tempura to slivers of intense-flavoured raw beef. Traditionally deferential service from kimono-clad staff gliding across the blond wood adds to the rarefied atmosphere.
