The consumption of crisped-up veggie black pudding & spicy falafels now takes place amid bold floral wallpaper & dark, polished wood. TV chef & co-owner Simon Rimmer has a cherry-picking, international style, with house favourites ranging from Cheshire cheese sausages with beer gravy to a very successful facsimile of crispy duck involving oyster mushrooms. Service is cheery, house wine is accessible, & the place glows with independent spirit.
