Square Meal Review of The New Emperor 
The New Emperor did much to maintain the culinary reputation of Manchester’s China Town when the famous Yang Sing was out of action. A few years on and the vast (250-cover) restaurant continues to offer a wide and varied menu ranging from straightforward dim sum to less familiar dishes listed in Chinese. Staff are very helpful, particularly when it comes to translations or recommendations for the more unusual dishes.
