The delightful location on a wooded bank of the Thames is reason enough to visit, but Julia Storey’s cooking is the real lure. She sends out dishes like steak tartare with horseradish ice cream, or salad of chicken livers & roast pear with goats' cheese curd & pomegranate molasses & mains of seared fillet of wild sea bass with crab & pea risotto & sweet chilli jam. Blood orange & campari panna cotta stands out among desserts. The home grown garden herb & leaf salad & homemade bread are not to be missed. Perfect alfresco in summer.
