The Scottish seafood specialists continue their suburbian take-over quest with this pleasant little restaurant in Barnet, where its recognisable formula of fresh food in relaxed surroundings is as flexible as ever. Bright, airy and simply decorated, the dining room is smart enough for a lobster dinner, but equally suited for a quick bowl of mussles at lunch. Comforting hot meals are available, but the top-quality oysters and smoked fish steal the show, particularly in the mornings when a set 'kipper breakfast' is the top choice.
