Situated just downstream from Pyford Lock on the river Wey, a short distance from West Byfleet and the flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society at Wisley. Old furniture, pictures, blackboards and books, flagstones and fires give relaxed and comfortable surroundings, whilst the lovely garden provides the perfect backdrop for lazy spring days.

  1. The Anchor is set along the canal tow path at Pyrford lock. The patio stretches along the canal with plenty of outdoor seating in a beautiful quintessentially English setting. Watching the boats use the lock fascinates kids. On the far end from the lock there’s a small trim trail to occupy the children while you relax. When the kids tire of the lock and the trim trail, duck food is available at the bar. Good pub fare...
