The Steakhouse restaurant in Watford is a brilliant spot for red-blooded Britons to indulge in superb red meat with a real difference. At The Steakhouse, all 28-day aged, locally sourced steaks are flash-grilled in the pan then brought sizzling to your table on a superheated volcanic stone to carry on cooking until you decide your steak has reached it’s peak. Steaks are offered with a variety of handmade rubs and sauces, or choose chicken fajitas or vegetarian options. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, try a wild food steak from Africa or down under: kangaroo, kudu, springbok, impala, blesbock, wildebeest, eland or even camel. The masculine dark wood and scarlet décor suits the menu perfectly – a smart, relaxed setting for some simply excellent food.
