Our family run, Freehouse, is one of the oldest pubs in the South of England and is an excellent position for exploring with lovely walks close by. Come and try our traditional cuisine in the cosy beamed restaurant with log fires to keep you warm. We have a set menu and a daily specials board that caters for all tastes. Our Sunday Roast is a mouth watering experience! Bed and breakfast is available. We have beautiful cosy rooms with all the characters of the 16th Century. You can choose to eat in the bars, where a more informal atmosphere prevails, or in our beautifully set dining room that provides a more elegant, quieter environment for those who prefer it. Alfresco eating outside in the Summer on the bench tables over looking the beautiful Groombridge Green and the Church Children are welcome and well behaved dogs are allowed in the bar but not in the restaurant. We have a large garden behind the Inn surrounded by trees and fields.
