St Peter’s Restaurant in Sandwich in Kent is a warm and welcoming place to enjoy the superb modern British cuisine of chef/owner Nick Leonard. The former Greyhound pub has been completely transformed into a stylish and comfortable restaurant with one of the loveliest cobbled courtyards on the south coast, a secluded spot to dine when the weather is kind. Chef Leonard, with more than twenty-five years’ experience in some of the top kitchens in Britain, including The Criterion and The Abingdon, is employing unrivalled local, seasonal produce in a constantly-changing menu that includes home-made bread, sausages and cured meats, pickles and chutneys and even ice cream. There are attractively-priced set lunch menus, extended dinner menus and a blinding proper roast lunch on Sundays.
