Jack Spratt is a brilliant little lunch, dinner and cocktail haunt located on St James Street in Manchester, just a stone’s throw away from the Royal Exchange Theatre, Albery Square and the Town Hall. With its home-away-from-home vibe and feel-good food, this restaurant serves five-a-day fare with a quirky twist. The Jack Spratt mantra is to serve healthy food at affordable prices, and the team use the freshest local ingredients to make a variety of omelettes, burgers, baguettes pasta dishes and salads. Inside, the dining room has a lounge-y vibe with plenty of comfy sofas, simple wooden furniture, fresh flowers and bare brick walls. One of Manchester’s best low-key lunch destinations, this is a great restaurant for chilled out dinner and drinks dates and working lunches.
