Cheery decor, vibrant red walls and pictures of flamenco artistes create an authentic vibe at this cheerful family-run tapas joint on Glasgow’s Southside – making it equally popular for special dos and quick catch-ups over a plate or three from the appetising menu. Meat eaters, fish fans and veggies are equally well served from a line-up that might feature the likes of homemade chorizo sautéed in red wine, a stew of tuna and swordfish with vegetables in rich tomato sauce or goats’ cheese dressed with pomegranate molasses and rocket. There are also four versions of paella for sharing, as well as a handful of salads and authentic Spanish desserts. Set menus are also great value if you want to share things around, and there are plenty of native wines to wash it all down. A Spanish dancer performs most Friday nights.
