This self-proclaimed “bijou boutique café” in Bexley village is a flurry of colours, textures and aromas from the minute you step off the High Street and into the souk-style dining room that doubles as a boutique for its Morocco-imported wares. Filled with handmade jewellery, woven rugs and flickering candles – Flavours of Morocco is perfect for afternoon mint tea dates with Moroccan pastries and cakes, romantic tables for two and private Moroccan-themed events. The menu at Flavours is rustic and wholesome and includes everything from all-day breakfasts and wraps to delicate show-stoppers such as the chicken mquali tagine slow-cooked in a fragrant preserved lemon and coriander sauce served in a traditional pot with an olive garnish.
