Be transported to North Africa on entering Bath’s Café du Globe, a restaurant known as the city’s most relaxed. Although set within a building straight out of the pages of a novel by the town’s most famous daughter, the interior of Café du Globe would likely have had Miss Austen reaching for the salts – a riot of colour and texture, this wonderful restaurant is full of the spirit of Morocco. Great attention to detail has gone in to every aspect of the Café du Globe with not only the décor evoking a different time and place, but the menu too. Indeed the Casablancan uses recipes handed down from his Fez born grandmother, using typically Moroccan ingredients.
