Following some re-branding, the restaurant and bar at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel is now Steak & Lobster – an easy-going eatery focusing on just two items. ‘We’ve done away with the warm-up acts and just brought you the headliners’ proclaims the menu – so take your pick from 10oz rib-eyes or whole lobsters (grilled or steamed), both served with garlic and chive butter, unlimited fries and a mixed salad. The only concessions come in the form of a veggie burger, a few nibbles (onion rings, chicken frites with chorizo oil, etc) and three puds including knickerbocker glory. Wines, beers and soft drinks also keep it plain and simple, while cocktails throw a few leftfield ideas into the mix – try afternoon tea-ni (Smirnoff Black vodka, breakfast tea, sugar syrup and a taste of honey).
Either a 10oz steak or a whole lobster with unlimited salad and fries. Not available the last Sunday of the month.
