It's hard to believe that this funky pan-Asian restaurant is related to classy seafood specialist Riddle & Finns next door. Set back from the street with its own Chinese lantern-lit courtyard, Yum Yum Ninja is a kooky temple to the Far East with wooden birdcages, paper-clad shoji screens and a noisy first-floor 'izakaya' cocktail bar. The crowded menu is a mash up of South-East Asian 'tapas' with sashimi and yakitori lining up alongside dim sum, Thai aubergine salad and Korean chilli squid. Slick staff deliver dishes to the communal tables as and when they are ready – although the plates (and bills) can mount up quickly. Not that you'll mind after trying the saké tasting flight or an Asian-themed cocktail such as the royal ume (umeshu plum liqueur shaken with cherry syrup and topped with sparkling wine).
