Now a local favourite in the centre of Chipping Norton, Wild Thyme offers an appetising mix of zesty modern cooking, B&B & warm, friendly service. Occupying a small, Grade II-listed building with two dining areas & a pretty courtyard garden, it’s the brainchild of chef Nick Pullen & his partner Sally Daniel, who dreamt about opening a small, country-town restaurant with a focus on produce from the vicinity’s farmers & growers – the couple even host their own annual food festival in Chipping Norton’s town hall to celebrate what’s on offer. Nick’s consistently delicious & regularly changing menu includes dishes ranging from pan-fried wood pigeon with ratatouille to wild rabbit & wild mushrooms en croûte with Jerusalem artichoke purée, plus cheeses from Roger Crudge & pop star-turned-foodie Alex James.
