As the name suggests, this casual all-day eatery is set right on the beach, & scores heavily with its stunning views over historic Cobb Harbour & Lyme Regis Bay. Grab a table on the terrace when the sun shines, or gaze out from the panoramic windows of the dining room if the weather closes in. The location is an obvious pull, but regulars also love its personal renditions of comfort food. Evening might bring Lyme Bay fish soup with croûtons & rouille, Caesar salad or deep-fried whitebait ahead of salmon fishcakes, moules-frites, a risotto or roast duck breast with a honey & soy dressing on a bed of linguine; after that, perhaps try lemon syllabub with raspberry sorbet.
