The X Factor’s Dermot O’Leary has joined forces with close friends James Ginzler & Paul Shovlin to open this likeable, unpretentious seafood restaurant. The kitchen is driven by fresh, market-led ingredients, with choice & prices to match. Failsafe options include fish pie or fish & chips, but if you look past the traditional standbys you’ll find a full seafood menu with a contemporary slant, from stir-fried squid with ginger garlic & chilli or Thai-style mussels, to lemon sole with salsa verde, or crab with chilli & basil linguine. Otherwise, opt for Sussex rib-eye steak with hand-cut chips if you’re not in a fishy mood. It’s great fun & excellent value.
