Out of Africa comes to Hampshire in the shape of this quirky hotel close to Marwell Zoological Park. Not surprisingly, it’s a popular spot for families, as well as providing tip-top facilities for corporate clients. Colonial-style bedrooms look out over woods dotted with contemporary sculptures. In the Zavanna restaurant, modern menus take inspiration from the four corners of the globe, with dishes such as spiced crab cake with mango sauce followed by confit duck with tarragon mash & roasted vegetables.
