The Bistro at Tiffins

Walk into the shop, past the kitchens & up a small staircase to find this modest, out-of-the-way bistro. The little room with its low ceilings & exposed red brick walls is a pleasant surprise, serving morning coffee onwards & making great use of the products from the deli below. Lunch is a varied affair with light bites such as the bistro seasonal salad or Fowey River mussels with crusty bread. In the evening there’s a more serious selection, say tian of Cornish crab with roasted red pepper & cucumber or roasted Creedy Carver duckling, red cabbage & spice honey jus. Specials boards list the fresh catch of the day, such as fabulous grilled local sardines.
