The Lincoln Grill at The Lincoln Hotel

The Lincoln Hotel enjoys an enviable location in the centre of Lincoln, with lovely views of the town’s cathedral. The Lincoln Grill keeps things simple & its combination of good ingredients, unfussy dishes & friendly & relaxed setting is going down a treat. Preparations tend to be simple & the kitchen, thankfully, stays within its capabilities. Aside from the occasional foreign interloper – tiger prawns, noodles with a spinach & chilli cream sauce – the menu has a strong British flavour. From the grill come burgers, gammon & steaks, or kick off with potted chicken livers, sea-salt croutes & homemade chutney, followed by braised beef with champ & parsnip puree, with chocolate mousse & vanilla ice-cream to finish.
