Hard by the old city walls & Anglican cathedral, Lemon Sole is the South Coast’s first pick & mix fish restaurant: you pick your type of fish from the weighty counter, then decide on the size, sauce & accompanying vegetables or salad. Fish comes mainly from the Solent with genuine lobster bisque, garlicky sardines or local sea bass with hollandaise all popular, with steaks, duck & pork available for non-fish eaters.
