Restaurants in Blackheath

Blackheath is an inner suburban area of south-east London, while Blackheath itself is a huge expanse of green, one of the largest areas of common land in Greater London – the vast space making it popular with families, dog walkers and kite flyers. There’s a village-like feel to the place: a funfair and fireworks on the heath every Bonfire Night (one of the most popular in the UK); a long-standing farmer’s market every Sunday (located in the car park of the railway station); and numerous shops, ranging from quaint independent bookshops to art galleries and craft shops. As for restaurants in Blackheath, there’s plenty of choice, from wood-fired pizzas or kilo pots of mussels at the microbrewery Zerodegrees, brasserie favourites at Chapters All Day Dining, great Argentinian steaks at the Buenos Aires Café, breakfast sandwiches and gorgeous cakes at Hand Made Food, or for Nepalese cooking in a prime heathside location, try Everest Inn.
